Store your pieces out of direct sunlight, in a dry place, and away from any heat source to prevent fading or drying out. Wipe any dust off with a clean cloth.

 Leather forms to gravity. It is skin, so it can stretch, scratch, curl, and crack if  stored improperly. Allow leather to breath. Moisture or over-conditioning can lead to mold, mildew, or tarnishing.Try to store pieces as flat as possible, as a flat lay or on a hanger. Keep leather away from things that may be able to scratch it.

Do not submerge or run leather under water. To clean your leathers, use Saddle Soap and a clean cloth. Do not rinse the soap off. Dry flat or hanging and away from any artificial heat source. Always condition after cleaning. Do not iron leather.

To keep leather supple, apply leather conditioner after cleaning. Using mink oil will help protect it from salt stains. Use a dry soft bristle brush to remove any residue that appears from conditioning!

I use OtterWax and Fiebing's saddle soap and leather conditioners.
